bypassing login screen

Bypassing Login Screen

When I did a clean install of Beta 2 it would boot to Windows desktop. I tried XP upgrade and it's boots to login screen. There is only one icon for one user account. The user account has administrator privileges. I looked for something in Control Panel>User Accounts to change this but saw nothing. How do you get Vista to boot directly to desktop?
TIA, Kent

Hi,
Same way as in XP, click start, type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 and hit <enter>, then uncheck the line requiring a user name and password. Click apply and follow the prompt to enter the default user and associated password.

Thanks Rick, That worked. It is funny how a fresh install of Vista does not do that and The XP installation before upgrade did not do it either.
